Recorded during the (relatively) carefree year of 2019 up in Helmsdale, Scotland at Edwyn Collins (Orange Juice / The Cribs / Teenage Fanclub) studio. The title 'Edwyn EP' was coined by the band when simply referring to the songs recorded with the King of Indie. Until 2020, these intricately layered songs have been left to mature, like a fne single malt. Each song has been lovingly mixed by master mixer Chris Taylor (Bill Ryder-Jones, Our Girl, The Coral) at Liverpool's legendary Parr St Studios.

'Black Spring' was the frst single to be released, inspired by the writings of Henry Miller. The track explores the author's feeling of 'great change'... A dream or a nightmare? A song written pre Covid 19, seemingly foreseeing the great change that has unravelled this year. 'Superstardom' the second single celebrates human uniqueness,“Be yourself, you’re not ordinary,” sings Abi Woods. 'Sinful City' their latest release, explores themes of modernisation and escapism.

New songs 'Automatic Living' and 'Transient Waves' complete the EP. These previously unheard tracks add a richness to the set, sweet caramel notes with sea air nose. From the Motown-esc back beat of 'Automatic Living' to the mellow strings of 'Transient Waves' these set of songs really capture a magic in the heart of the Highlands.

Created during the long, bright days of summer 2019, 'Edwyn EP' is snapshot into the workings of a band enjoying recording in a glorious studio with glorious people. A band at work pre pandemic. Each song is transcendent, inviting the listener to escape to the Highlands. Dram in hand, 'slàinte mhath' Seatbelts!
